So Earth Day just creped up on all of us. Besides being overtaken by Coachella as the most important event happening this weekend. Its still going to be celebrated by Earthlings who cant afford Coachella tickets, or don’t want to bother with the heat. If you are in the San Clemente Area, there are three events going down for you to give back to the Sun, and the Beaches that we all love so dearly!

This Saturday, there is a meet up at the pier between 8 and 10 a.m. Saturday. The purpose is to clean up the beach trail and the beach itself. Then all day from 10AM to 2 PM, the Earth Day Festival is in Parque Del Mar next to the pier.Theres going to be tons of fun like Music, demos, art, exhibits.

For Doheny State Beach you have two choices, meet for a beach cleanup at the lifeguard headquarters 9AM- noon on Sat or help plant trees by the campfire center on April 25th instead. I’d go with planting trees.

And of course who can forget San Onofre State beach’s Earth Day celebration. This Sunday from 11AM-5PM. Once a place where our lands Native American ancestors roamed. Mind you the Native Americans were the world’s first environmentalists. They lived with the Earth, and were one with the Earth. So it’s all going down at San Onefre Beach on Sunday from 11AM -5PM. By the San Mateo campground. There will be singing in native tongues, dancing with the sun, food of various variety, guest speakers, and more! Come and be one with the Earth, just for one day.
