What’s the difference between MICHAEL JORDAN’s NBA comeback and Guy Mariano’s reawakened skateboard career comeback? For one, Michael Jordan came back and played or an entirely different (crappy) team while Guy’s hiatus saw a return to his old team, Girl. Also, Jordan’s come back saw a less athletic, more aged performance while Guy saw a rejuvenated, more aesthetically pleasing styled comeback. And finally, Jordan’s comeback showed signs of a lingering gambling addiction (which he was never able to conquer) while Guy’s comeback saw a drug free, clean of addiction performance (which was inevitably overcome).
As you can see, not all greats can make a comeback worth talking about. In this episode of Epicly Later’d featuring the one and only Guy Mariano, we see what lead up to one of the ultimate comeback parts of all time in 1996’s MOUSE.
