Chad Shetler Wins The 2009 Ultimate Boarder

There aren’t many people on this earth who can claim to be a virtuoso at multiple things. Chad Shetler can claim it along with a $30,000 grand prize for shredding harder than anybody else during a weeklong shred fest for the 2009 ULTIMATE BOARDER Championships. Although the event didn’t include what I thought were some shred stick essentials such as the SNAKE BOARD, HOVERBOARD, or the WATER BOARD, it was still able to highlight some key talent.
Will he quit his job?? He placed 3rd in the Snowboarding section. Yes 3rd, heard he was hucking solid airs and rotations and the 3rd place finish put him in a good position come wednesday morning at C-st in Ventura for the surfing. The waves were fun two feet and Chad held his own in the lineup. He had a couple of rights that allowed him to blast a few off the lips to finish. His two heats resulted in a 28th place in the surfing, which meant he was going to have to go top 5 in the skate event, which he felt quite comfortable in considering he took the first place skate spot last year.
