I haven’t seen this big of gathering of chicks since the LILITH FAIR. But it’s great that the NIKITA CHIKITA team is continuing the string of events designed by female boarders for female boarders. The camaraderie that sprouts from these Nikita events should be the envy any group. They are putting on a great example of teamwork, friendship, and reenactments of scenes from TRAVELING PANTS. This coming April 18th will see the 3rd Annual Nikita Chickita and they are throwing a contest for you to come for the ride!
Consisting of an open slopestyle snowboard contest, all entries are welcome as long as you’re a chick. You hear that Sean White!? You and your hair are not invited. There will be two categories for this contest; womens and juniors, where the girls will take part in qualification heats before being selected for the finals. There’ll be a perfectly groomed set up consisting of kickers, stairway, wall ride etc. Come join the Nikita crew alongside the winners from Nikita Chickita Norway (Cecilia Larsen), the Nikita Goodie Lady Session (Anaïs Cettou) and Italy’s Chicks on Board, Chick Games 2009 (Jane Brunori).
Nikita team riders Sabrina Kusar and Julia Baumgartner will be judging the event and encouraging the girls into making the most of the course and using their style. Here’s what’s up for grabs:
Womens
1st Place – a one-year contract with Nikita and 1000 Euros, plus other goodies
2nd Place - 500 Euros, plus other goodies
3rd Place - 250 Euros, plus other goodies
Juniors will be showered with loads of prizes too.
After a hard day’s enjoyment, meet for a quick drink before getting ready to PARTY! Confirmed entertainers Rhythmus Gymnastik will be around to liven things up, both on the slopes and for the Nikita Party in the evening.
