Apparently, the Skatepark Of Tampa is filing for chapter 11 bankruptcy due to lack of performance from many of their stores. This news comes around the same time, actually on the exact same date last year when they claimed that the company would go public on the New York Stock Exchange. At least this story is a little easier to swallow. Although with the success of their contest and countless events, I think they may be trying to pull an April Fool’s joke on us. Plus check out the money owed. Why are all the creditors skate companies? They don’t borrow money from banks?
