Epickly Later’d: Lakai – Guy Mariano – Part 2

Patrick O’Dell and Epickly Later’d continue with the heat in this second part of the Guy Mariano series.  Let me just say that with only two episodes in, I can already feel like this will be my favorite series for sure.  The archive footage with the amount of past and current talent is amazing.  This episode starts off with a cameo from one of my favorite skaters from back in the day, Joey Suriel who now works for Diamond Supply Co.  I thought I would never see that guy again.  His video part from the Menace video got me into hip hop. 

But this episode I’m willing to bet will hit home for a lot of skaters from the past and the present.  Skateboarding was making that transition from pure fun, to pure business.  In the case with Steve Rocco and World Industries, he was a shark and you wouldn’t want to mess with him.  This episode also features a live commentary from a young Jason Lee.  I won’t say anything about it but I know most of you can empathize with his words.
