The DC Shoes X The Berrics Collaboration

Often times we hear of companies teaming up together to put out something special in a collaborative effort. Often times these collaborations suck. I’m sure you remember the LA GEAR X KARL MALONE collabo that was meant to take the basketball world by storm. Instead they were available a month later at your local swap meet. And then you had the CHEETOS X NIKE DUNK collabo. I know that there was a huge following for these but only by those who go to raves and take ecstasy. Unfortunately for those, they too were seen at your local swap meet.
But once in a blue moon, a really special tag team comes around that gives people the chills. The BERRICS along with DC Shoes put their collective minds together to create PROJECT GRANITE. If you’re as narrow minded as me, you probably questioned the validity of doing something with DC when there are so many shoe teams out there strictly dedicated to skateboarding. Also since the BERRICS have been doing so much with DVS, Berra’s shoe sponsor, won’t there be a conflict of interest? I guess not since the star of this show is PJ Ladd. Plus check out the site. It’s totally souped up DC style.
Every week for three week, PJ will be doing a trick on a ledge and the objective of this project is for you to duplicate that very trick. Are you up for it? Good. Once you get that trick down, go to your local library, upload the video clip and one winner will be chosen each week. At the end of the three-week period, one grand prize winner will be selected and will receive an entire year’s worth of DC gear and PJ’s ledge which he used to film his tricks on. Go to the BERRICS for more info.
