The Bob Burnquist / Ty Evans Bubble Experiment

Just a few days ago we broke the story on the SNICKERS commercial that changed the way skateboarding is looked at forever. For over a year, the skateboard industry, who prides itself on originality and innovative style, was kicked in its arse when 5 Mexican barely legals rip it so hard that explosive debris flies from every which way. Who would have thought that a delicious chocolaty treat would make skate videos 38 minutes longer with it’s slow motion cinematography and repetitive shots of a single trick?
Well Ty Evans is at it again, although not with explosives. But with the exact opposite. Bubbles! And not really with actually soapy, sudsy bubbles, but with balloons. This bubble experiment will feature everyone’s favorite Brazilian next to the Brazilian Wax, Bob Burnquist. Bob will be skating a skate park tightly packed with black balloons to the brim. The variety of spectacular visuals is endless.
Even though we’ve seen this idea before with MATT BEACH, I’m certain with their supersonic slow-motion cameras, Ty and his crew will come up with something amazing. Maybe even more amazing than BALLS. Check out the teaser below.
