Aussie Torah Bright was pretty much a non-factor this season at the Winter Dew Tour but she showed today why she’s considered one of the best female snowboarders on the scene with a blazing final run that secured her the win at the Toyota Championship at Tahoe-at-Northstar.

Bright was trailing Kelly Clark (90.00) going into her second run and had a solid effort, including a Crippler and a Backside 360 Indy into  Switch Backside 7 to finish it off.  Her score of 95.50 was more than enough to secure the win, especially with Clark stumbling on her last run.  Third-place went Hannah Teter (83.50).

Clark’s strong season (second at Breckenridge, first at Mount Snow) earned her the Dew Cup, though Bright missed the Mount Snow stop altogether and missed the finals in Breckenridge.
