If there were ever a time in your life when you needed to put the time, effort, and persistence into a skill that would later transpire to great results, this is it. Forget all the math, science, history, and grammar homework that all of your teachers assign to you on a day-to-day basis. Honestly, that stuff will get you nowhere. It’s all about mastering your flat ground tricks on your skateboard. These are the skills that can get you instant results for the “Man, I need Vans Game Of S.K.A.T.E” contest.
When you think about it, you’re using your internal math and science skills to calculate how much energy and force is needed to pull of your tricks. You will be covering the history aspect of your education when you make history by winning this contest along with the wonderful Vans prizes. And finally, you can bust out your grammar skills by helping Vans come up with a better name for their contest. I’m not an English teacher or anything but that title sounds a little weird to me. It should be like, “Man, I Need A Vans’ Game Of S.K.A.T.E.”
So do you want to have a fresh pair of Vans for every month of 2009? Both skateparks in Orange, CA and Orlando, FL will be hosting the “Man, I Need Vans Game of S.K.A.T.E.” on Saturday, February 21st at 3pm. Winner of each age division (2 divisions: 6 - 13 and 14+) wins a year’s supply of Vans shoes (12 pair). Registration starts at 12:00pm the day of the contest and there is no additional entry fee other than the regular price to skate! Limited spots available so show up early for registration.
