Monday’s memorial service for FMX rider Jeremy Lusk will be webcast following growing interest from fans and friends in attending. The general public was invited when the memorial service was first announced on Wednesday, but due to limited space fans are now being asked to show their support by watching online.

The service begins at 1 p.m. at the Revival Christian Fellowship Church in Menifee, CA, and a who’s who of the top names in motocross are expected to attend, along with Lusk’s family, which is based in the San Diego area, and sponsors.

Those wishing to watch the service online can go to http://www.revival.tv/jeremylusk.

Lusk passed away on February 9th after suffering mutliple injuries in a crash in Costa Rica on February 7th. As a rider with the popular Metal Mulisha, Lusk had a career year in 2008 including a gold medal win at X Games in Freestyle and a best trick silver medal. To cap it all off, FMX fans named him Transworld’s FMX rider of the year for 2008.

“Jeremy motivated me to be a better person, he was my best friend” his Mulisha teammate Brian Deegan said of Lusk.

The Jeremy Lusk Trust Fund has been set up through the Athlete Recovery Fund and is accepting donations to help his family and other injured athletes. Among the groups pledging donations are Chris Gentry’s Pro Riders group, which is currently touring Florida.
