Mike Vallely Answers Your Questions

Just last week we saw a great question and answer with Braydon Szafanski presented by ACTIVE.  Well active has set up yet another exciting opportunity for the fans of extreme sidewalk surfing to communicate with one of the godfathers of HESSIANISM, Mike Vallely.  Not only has Mike grown a totally awesome beard over the past few years, he has a great band named Revolution Mother that makes lovely music.  He’s one of the few skaters from the Powell Days still ripping like a mad man.  He’s in a hit movie out now about a roller cop.  And of course, Mike Vallely is good at beating up people (if he needs to).

Now you are allowed to ask any question but only a handful will be answered.  And that’s why I love it when Active does these.  With so many interesting facts going on in Vallely’s life at the moment, how can you not have a million questions running through your mind at the moment?  Like…

- What’s the first trick you had learned on skateboard?
- Have you ever tattoo’d yourself?
- Now that you’re a skateboarding movie star, are you jealous of Willy Manaloto Santos because of his role in THE SKATEBOARD KID II?
- Will your band play my friend’s bar mitzvah?
-  With two senators withdrawing their names from commerce secretary, who do you foresee filling the position for Obama?

One of my questions was answered during Braydon’s interview.   I’m sure he’ll probably answer all of these questions.  Go to the ACTIVE site and start asking.

  2. I think one of the coolest things that ever happened to skateboarding is when Mike Vallely started going to podunk towns and just saying hello to all the little kids skating. Also the footage of him beating up 5 kids at a hotel on YouTube is priceless.
