Bromance Has A New Name: Eddie-Slater

Have you ever seen a show on MTV called BROMANCE? Me neither but my friend told me that it was absolutely essential I check it out. He said that it’s a combination of that Paris Hilton show, a guy named Brody, and a show called The Hills. I honestly don’t know a thing about the show called The Hills, nor do I know about some guy named Brody, unless it’s Adrien Brody. I do know Paris Hilton but unaware she had a show. My friend stole her SIDEKICK.
After doing a little research on Google, I found a video that would forever change my life. I didn’t know that it’s okay for guys who never met each other before, come together and bond in a house. I didn’t know that true friendship evolve by having competitions. And I especially didn’t know that it’s okay for guys to act like such poons around each other. This show is awesome!
While doing a little research on Bros, I found out that Eddie Vedder and Kelly Slater were paired as a couple of eco friendly bros. Besides surfing relationship between musician, Eddie Vedder and pro surfer Kelly Slater, they pair up to raise big bucks for reef protection and environmental awareness through the Kelly Slater Foundation.
Vedder, in between songs at a benefit show for the foundation last year, explained his motivation: “Half of every song I’ve ever written was written in the ocean, so that’s sort of my way of giving back”.
Although an odd couple, it’s great to see that celebrities like Kelly Slater and Eddie Vedder are using their celebrity to make a huge difference for a great cause. Mother Earth’s survival. There are plenty of other couples to recognize. Check out HERE to see if your favorite couple made the list.
