The sport could have probably made a lot more progress if these two icons would just quit their squabbles. Now the sport of surfing has two of its icons coming together to make the sport of surfing a better place to be and TRANSWORLD SURF is doing a big giveaway to commemorate the landmark event. I have the sneaking suspicion that we’re going to see truly incredible things progress in the sport of surfing due to Bruce Irons and Kelly Slater. As the gates of the WCT pen open up they are able to roam about the globe and single-handedly progress the sport. In the last couple of years, with each one of the two winning multiple titles, the other competitors know that the race is on, and at any moment Kelly or Andy will shoot in and sneak away with the title. Both have a competitive side that heat up competitions and make them that much more amazing to watch. They also show young kids, like myself, growing up how to represent a sponsor, and represent them well!!! Both quicksilver and billabong are probably both stoked to know that they have two of the top surfers in the world riding under their name.
