Wolfpak Featured On The New York Times

A few years ago right before the peak of HEELYS popularity, my friends and I were Heelying around OUR local skate park with some sandwiches and fruit boxes. When we found a silky sick smooth spot to chow down, some BLADERS rolled up and asked us about our wheels. Knowing that Heelys were not yet in the mainstream, we understood their curiosity. But as we began to explain the physics and engineering of a Heely, one of the bladers did a soul grind on my Heely and rolled away flipping us off and then took a dump on our quarter pipe. In retaliation, we made the video below and sent copies to all the Bladers. We added extra aggressive music to the vid to symbolize our loathe for those Bladers. A week later, we all got the respect we deserved.
I can really relate to the Kala Alexander and the Wolfpak from the Northshore in Hawaii. The frustrations those boys must feel on a day-to-day basis must be one of the most aggravating feelings on earth. Our tough exterior is a shell for our average, normal, and peaceful interiors. Imagine if you lived amidst a popular hot spot that attracted tourist and outsiders who literally poop where you live. It just really chaps my hide. It’s essential for us to be tough so that outsiders will get a clue and give the respect us locals deserve.
Check out the article over at the NEW YORK TIMES featuring the aggravated Wolfpak and the locals who frequent the Northshore. You will for now on respect every spot you and your friends think you can invade. KALA is my idol.
