Epicly Later’d: Lakai – Anthony Pappalardo – Part 4

The Epicly Later’d Lakai series featuring Anthony Pops Pappalardo continues with the fourth episode.  I have a growing feeling that Pops isn’t enjoying skateboarding as much as the rest of the Lakai team.  Just a hunch.  I liked this episode because it gave me a revelation about a few of my friends.

I think that it’s obvious that Pops has gone through a few transformations throughout his career just like many of us.  I’ve been through my kid punk days.  Then opened my eyes to hip hop (thanks to Kareem Campbell), and I’ve even been through a RAVER period.  PLUR.  What influenced that change you might wonder?

This episode delves into Pops relationship with Rob P, who may not have been the most marquee skater but you can tell Pops has a great respect for him. The influence that friends, especially young friends, have on one another make a world of a difference on development.  For me, I could have followed one set of my friends into the thug life, or I could go into the skater life.  I chose the RAVER life.  PLUR!
