When shoe companies reissue shoes from decades back, you know that they’re doing the public a favor by bringing back a little bit of nostalgia, and you know everybody likes a little bit of that.  Not only the tennis world, but the sneaker freakers went crazy when Nike re-released the Andre Agassi AIR TECH CHALLENGE II’S.  The only difference this time around was that nobody played tennis in them.  And around 1998, BRITISH KNIGHTS reissued the limited edition 5 YEAR ANNIVERSARY SKEE –LO sneaker that made every guy under 5’6” just go nuts!

Now that skateboarding is getting older, so are some of the goods.  Celebrating 20 years since the inception of his signature sneakers with Vans, the legendary California shoe company drops a commemorative Steve Caballero pack. Consisting of three different colorways, the sneakers take on a Full Cab cut rather than Van’s popular Half Cab model. Aside from the awesome “1989-2009 XX” embroidery, the skate shoes combine classic suede uppers with a printed croc embossed backdrop and contrast accenting. All three models are now available at select Vans retailers worldwide.

  2. man back in the day, if you wore these in the
wrong neighborhood you would get Jumped.

Like in Inglewood California the bloods will jump you because they see BK/British Knights as Blood Killers. so alot of Crips gang members
    wore them.

Shoot even MC Hammer had a TV AD for them.

also these sneakers were givin away as prizes
back in the early 90s on shows like Global Guts
what would you do,legends of hidden temple.

These shoes are even referenced in a song by Missy Elliott FT,Jay Z – Back in the Day

“go back to the day British Knights & Gold Chains,do the prep and cabbage patch and wear your laces all flat, back in the day hey hey hip-hop has changed”.
