The Berrics is in the middle of probably the greatest pro skate contest in the history of skateboarding. Not the X-Games, not the Dew Tour, and not even the Maloof Cup, have so many of my friends and random people I know have been so immersed in one skate competition. The best part is that they don’t even need any skate ramps, rails, or stairs. It’s all flat ground. The only thing that can possibly rival the BATTLE AT THE BERRICS is THIS VIDEO, and it’s not even a contest.
Well the Battle is now in it’s second round of competition and if you’re following, you can see that the competition is getting serious. I’ve never seen so many pro nervous. But as the competition moves on, these guys are taking time out of their busy schedules to warm up for their next challenger. This weekend will see some epic battles as Biebel will go up against Billy Marks. Stache Vs. Muscles. And on Sunday we will see the best match up of the quarterfinals: Koston Vs. Donavon. This battle is worthy of the finals.
Koston obviously understands the magnitude of his next battle and he’s been definitely been putting the time in. He can expect Donavan to pull out some double/triple flip whatchamacallits. It’s going to be fun. Check out Koston’s workout video vs. Sam Smyth over at CRAILTAP.
