Daniel Castillo Saves The Ollie Challenge

Due to the unfortunate postponement of “Reese Forbes Ollie Challenge” presented by Quicksilver, there will be no mind-blowing ollies at day at the ASR Trade Show. That’s what I thought too. That was until DVS stepped in and created a high ollie contest of their own called the “Hands Free Big Air Challenge”. And who better to host the high ollie contest than DVS’s very own high popper, DANIEL CASTILLO. This contest will have no judges, no announcers, and the biggest ollie wins. It’s that simple.
The Hands Free Big Air Challenge goes down on Friday, January 23rd at 3PM in the ASR Beer Garden. I’m assuming have to be born before 1988 in order to join, or else have a really good-looking fake ID. Preferably from MACARTHUR PARK near downtown.
The money prizes are significantly lower than Quicksilver’s but that should be the least of the competitors’ worries. What they should be concerned about is who will break the 44.5” ollie record. Will it be you? Reese Forbes and Danny Wainwright are already pre-qualified. Not sure about JOSE MARABOTTO who supposedly eclipsed the record with his 50″ ollie.
