Flip Zumiez Couch Tour ’08 Footage

Unless you’ve been living under a rock or a cave (like me) for the past year, then you should know that along with a bunch of skate teams this past year have been touring in unprecedented numbers.  It reminds me of how bands must tour a lot in order to make some money due to the high number of pirates.  Skaters are touring all over the place.  Maybe it’s because everyone buys blank decks.  Or those crappy GHETTO decks they sell at 7-11. 

FLIP Skateboards probably had one of the biggest tours of last year with their Feast Southwest Tour and the Zumiez Couch Tour.  Check out the footage over at ZUMIEZ featuring some of Flip’s young finest.  Luan De Oliveira, Curran Caples, David Gonzalez, Lance Mountain (the youngest), and Louie Lopez. They know what they are doing with these young guys.  They’re harvesting them like thoroughbred horses.  Sure they’re small and puny now, but just you watch.  They’re going to be future leaders one day.  And where did they come up with some of this stuff?  They’re like little DOOGIE HOWSERS.
