Santa Cruz Surfing Museum Not In The Budget

You know that it’s a different day in age when cities are forced to shut down public facilities due to lack of funding. In the city of Los Angeles, one of the coolest museums in town, not to mention a pretty hot party spot during the summer, MOCA (Museum Of Contemporary Art) may be shutting its doors or at least conjoin with LACMA. And just the other day, a few blocks from where I grew up, the city of Industry just might close the doors to its senior citizens center. I was really looking forward to having my 75th birthday there too.
Unfortunately the Los Angeles area isn’t the only town that looks to be closing its doors to the public. The Santa Cruz Surfing Museum along with many more facilities will be forced to do the same.
