Two New Events at Winter X Games 13

When the Winter X Games kicks off in January 2009 there will be two new events for fans to check out. Women’s Skiing Slopestyle will join the other women’s events (including the skiing halfpipe). Slopestyle will feature eight skiers taking two runs apiece, with the top run taking the gold. Athletes have not been named, but some guesses include Anna Segal and Meg Olenick…
On the motorized-side of things, Snowmobile Best Trick will be featured, with three athletes battling it out for a single gold medal. The winner will be chosen by fans that get to watch the competition on TV.
The Winter X Games will take place from January 22-25 and are free and open to the public.
