Surfer Dude Starring Mathew McConaughey

I’m not one to rush to the theaters to see a Mathew McConaughey film.  I think the last movie of his I enjoyed was probably “Dazed and Confused” playing the older dude with the classic line “That’s what I love about these high school girls man, I get older, they stay the same age. He he he.  Yes they do”.  Unfortunately I can’t remember the last time he delivered a line that well.  But hopefully with all the hype and drama surrounding his latest film that can soon change. 

Now if you’re unaware and if you don’t read the Enquirer that often, then you probably failed to realize that Mathew McConaughey is all over the media, especially with a surf board in his hands.  There is an ongoing investigation in regards to the paparazzi vs. bros beat down that occurred two months ago in Malibu.  It looked to me that Mathew probably learned a lot from that experience.  Maybe I don’t give him enough credit for the method actor that he is. 

Anyway, the trailer for his new film Surfer Dude was just released and by the looks of things, I may go see it because 1) I’m an extreme dude that likes extreme movies and 2) Woody Harrelson looks hilarious in it.  Those are probably the only things that look appealing abut this movie.  Maybe I’ll just wait to buy it when I go get my carwash.  Check out the trailer.
