With advances in internet streaming technology it’s not surprising how people are getting discovered these days. If not for sites like youtube.com, bumfights.com, and midgetmadness.com (it’s not what you think), I’d wonder as to how many of these internet celebrities would actually get their big break.
So it’s great to see that the Maloof’s too are embracing this technology that allows the unknown to get some exposure. In the excitement surrounding the Maloof Money Cup coming up this summer, they are allowing 4 amateurs to showcase what they’ve got by uploading their skate video to Reelcomp.com and the winners will actually get a chance to compete for the $100,000 first prize.

User Voting Period: June 1, 2008 - June 14, 2008. This will determine the top 20 entrants in each category.
Celebrity Judging Panel: To determine the best overall in each category.
Winners Announced: June 23, 2008: Two Winners Per Category.
