The big bad Megaramp will get all the buzz, but this year’s Vert ramp is quite a spread itself. The Men’s Vert competitors prepare to slay the beast.
X Games 12 appears to be slightly more female-friendly than past X Games events thanks to the efforts of skaters Cara-Beth Burnside, Mimi Knoop, Jen O'Brien, and the Action Sport Alliance.
Its the moment they have all been waiting for, X Games 12. One of the biggest competitions of the year, this is the one event that every BMX rider waits for, the one event by which all others are judged.
Its eerily quiet over in the Home Depot Center, maybe our pals in MotoX are chillin' out before the big weekend- saving their energy and their limbs.
My what a big ramp you have. Its hard to grasp the magnitude of the Mega Ramp, but once you are standing in front of it... It takes your breath away.

Who knew getting a license could lead to this! Twisting and turning, curving and sloping, that stomach turning feeling you get when going straight down a hill. Rally Car Racing is the newest event at this year's X Games, and what will happen is anyone's guess.
After 12 years of work, the secret sauce may finally be complete. The X Games have come a long way over the years; from Bungy Jumping to what we see today, Skateboarding, BMX, Surf and FMX. But there are still some head scratchers in this year's line-up, which begs the question "What is an extreme sport?"
